I haven't ever looked into Columbine before. I'd lumped it in with several other events. In listening to your show, the book by Douglas Coupland, Hey Nostradamus! came to mind. It came out in 2004 and was about a school shooting. Now that I am fully awake, I can see what a tool (clown - this one from Canada) he was. Did you ever read his books? I was a fan as soon as Generation X game out (my generation).
Anyway, if you're not familiar with all his books, just look through the topics: psy op. Most definitely. And do you remember when Minority Report came out and the press was talking up that a group of great, forward thinking minds from all sorts of fields got together to discuss what the future might look like? (Riiiiiight.) Coupland was part of that group. Hindsight 2020.
Hmm...another thing I noticed. Number of mass shootings was relatively quiet after Columbine until 2005. Like Hey Nostradamus! was setting things up to help normalize. As they say...the more you know!
