Nothing is as it seems. This home which was supposedly purchased by Maxwell is not as simple as it sounds. For anyone purchasing a home, even for cash which I recently did, requires a notary. To transfer funds by a cashiers check, bank note, etc is highly scrutinized. You need to show where the funds came from. I would expect someone in the bank would have contacted the authorities. I would believe if the public records were searched, the home is not in her name, Whose name then, what is there evolvement. Something tells me she was never even at this home!
