A friend of mine sat next to Keanu Reeves in the subway one time. Keanu told him that all of his movies have messages. I just saw his latest movie, John Wick 4. It is super violent. The bad guys never stop for a minute trying to kill John Wick, Keanu's character. When he manages to kill off a batch of trained elite killers, a coded radio message goes out to all of the common crimials to kill John Wick to get a lucrative reward. So then the common criminals try to kill him. A good friend of his betrays him because the evil guy threatens to kill the friend's daughter, if the friend dioes not work for the evil side. The evil guy does get killed in the end, but John Wick is killed also. I could see the messages in this movie, mainly that the forces of evil are relentless. The recrutement of common criminals reminded me of the killing of Seth Rich by MS13. The messages weren't deep, just kind of awful. All of the recent super hero movies and such have many messages for us. They are more than what they seem. It must be their way of telling the younger crowd what they are doing.
I love these videos!!! Right in our faces and we didn't get it! Now I see so much more than before.
