A doctor (in an acute psychiatric ward of a general hospital) I once worked with in Denmark, (1975) said any name with 'Rosen' in it was suspicious, probably Jewish, which I now take to mean Kazarian, probably concocted, or made up. He was not anti Jewish. But was old enough to have experienced the war years in Denmark as a young adult. The Danes were very pro Jewish. We had a few patients then who had been in the resistance but did not like to talk about it. There were still Nazi collaborators in Denmark being exposed years after the war. Even in 2016 when I was last there, my friend could point out local collaborators, amongst the local arisocrats.
