Christians who are part of the Word Of Faith movement focus upon "positive confession" WHENEVER THE WORD "confession" is used, we instinctively think of confession of sin. But that is the negative side of the word. There is a positive side, and the Bible has more to say about the positive than the negative. Confession is stating something we believe in our hearts. It is giving evidence to something we know to be true.
I believe that you are talking about the same thing but not mentioning God's, our Creator's role in that process. I really wish having a relationship with God would not always be viewed as "religion" or "traditions of men " as Jesus put it by the world.
